Though I began my blogging journey as a college student in 2007, it wasn’t till 2017 that I launched my WordPress website with a definite plan on what to blog about. At that time, barely a year and a half post-partum, and just about finding my feet in the social media sphere, I wasn’t sure of what this blog might yield but I knew that I love writing, and was willing to see where this path took me.
Choosing the space of lifestyle blogging without restricting myself to a single niche seemed the logical way forward because I have always nurtured many interests – fashion, beauty, travel, food, health, books, creative writing and so much more. This wide range allowed me to be able to attend many events, meet wonderful people, learn to write on pretty much any subject under the sun, and most importantly, it paved the way for a career in lifestyle journalism.
It has indeed been a wonderful journey so far. And recently this journey was made even sweeter because my blog was included in FeedSpot’s list of the Top 100 Indian Lifestyle Blogs on the web, clocking in at number 14.
Here’s the prestigious list:

My blog has earned recognitions in the past, but this one is extra special because it came out of the blue. I didn’t nominate myself, nor did I realise this list was still being updated in a day and age where AI is changing the very nature of blogging and the internet. For that matter, this recognition is extra special because with the advent of AI, I have found myself floundering as a blogger, unable to decide what kind of content to create on my blog. Hence, this ranking is validation that I’m clearly doing something right, and it’s a push for me to continue on this path even though rewards – monetary or otherwise – are few and far between.
So, I’d like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the team at FeedSpot for picking my blog for their prestigious list! I’d also like to take this opportunity to congratulate my fellow bloggers included in this list. It has been a pleasure getting to know you and your writer’s voice through your blogs. May we all continue to grow from strength to strength!
