Blogchatter and Me: A Poetic Tribute

Posted by
Blogchatter and Me

In 2017, as a fledgling blogger just finding my feet

I never knew the right people to meet

Over a year went by of churning out new written content

The audience was minimal, but my writer’s heart was content

Then there sprang a desire for recognition,

Spreading my writer’s wings became a serious mission

Someone mentioned the hallowed name of the challenge known as A-Z

Organised in India by Blogchatter, for which I signed up with glee

April 2019 was a gruelling month of reading and writing,

Though caught unawares, I thoroughly enjoyed my creative juices alighting

And so began a relationship between Blogchatter and me

One of support, happiness, and monetary gains going far beyond the A-Z

They published my first book, “Tales From My Travel Treasury”

Which brought that long-desired recognition and made me merry

Then along came ‘My Friend Alexa’, a cake-walk in comparison to the other

If A-Z is the mother of all challenges, this one was the friendly brother

Over the last 2.5 years, I’ve participated in numerous activities organised by Blogchatter,

And in turn they helped bring me to a blogging place that matters

As they complete the first year in their new web avatar

I wish that Blogchatter always stays a rising star

One that collectively raises the flag of the Indian blogging community

While holding our hands and earning our fealty

May the team continue to innovate and keep us on our toes

And safeguard us from any brickbats and blows

“Let’s Talk About You” is their motto

And they do this ably, through blogs, videos and photos

And so, team Blogchatter, I wish you the heartiest congratulations

And promise that you and I will be on long-term relations!

If you’re an Indian blogger, you know of team Blogchatter. As the voice of the Indian blogging community, this little team has done a tremendous amount of work in the digital space, in the few years that it has been active. As they celebrate one year of their new website, this little paean is my wish for them to continue to grow and succeed in every endeavour of theirs.
